Youth ministries at Lovely Lane UMC range from 6^th Grade to 12^th grade.

Sunday mornings at 9:00 am we have a class for Mid High and High School ages.  The lessons are hands-on learning, sometimes in the kitchen cooking and tasting, and sometimes behind the video camera giving a modern spin to an old, old story.

Wednesday nights we feature a meal for all youth, children, and parents at 5:30 pm and then offer Youth group for both Middle and High Schoolers at 6:00 pm.  We always have a game and a time to share prayers, usually with a program that inspires a lot of discussion!  We do service projects and fundraisers, and every summer and during Spring Break we take mission and adventure trips.  We’ve been to Minnesota, Missouri, South Dakota, Louisiana, and Colorado so far!!!

For Kennedy High School students, we also sponsor Lovely Lane Lunch every Tuesday noon in our Fellowship Hall.  You don’t have to be a member of the church to attend.  If you are a freshman or sophomore, you will need to turn your parents’ written consent form in at the Kennedy HS office.  (Please check back for a consent form to download or you can request a form from the church office.)  Everybody’s welcome!
