Recording Artist Carrie Newcomer at Lovely Lane March 17th

Carrie Newcomer is a singer/songwriter who "weaves faith and spirituality throughout the stories she tells in her songs."

Come and enjoy an evening concert with Carrie Newcomer and pianist Gary Walters at 7:00 pm Saturday, March 17th as part of Lovely Lane's 50th Anniversary Celebration!

Lovely Lane members can purchase tickets early for a reduced rate of $15 in the month of January. Regular ticket prices are $20 for the public - tickets can be purchased online at Brown Paper Tickets.

Carrie will also be leading a workshop all day Saturday, March 17th, and making an appearance at both worship services on Sunday, March 18th.

March 17 & 18:	Carrie Newcomer workshop and concert
April 8:	Easter Sunrise Service at Cedar Memorial with breakfast
April 15:	Brunch/Service Auction
May 12:	One day mission blitz in our Fellowship Hall
June 17:	Rev. Carol Sundberg will be guest preacher
July 15:	Rev. Brian Milford preaching, picnic following at Seminole Valley
Aug. 12:	Rev. Paul Akin preaching, with special seating at the Kernel’s game following
Sept. 9:	50th Anniversary Charter celebration with Bishop Julius Trimble

African Congregation Visit

On Sunday, October 23, Lovely Lane welcomed the growing congregation of African United Methodists in Cedar Rapids to our worship services.
